Aivars Bērziņš

Attorney at Law Aivars Bērziņš has graduated from the University of Latvia, Faculty of Law in 1994 with a B.A. degree in Law and the qualification of lawyer.

During the studies Aivars Bērziņš starts his career as the legal consultant at the publishing house "Avots". After graduating from the University he is invited to work in the State Joint Stock Company "VEF" as the Head of the Legal Department. From in 1997 he is the Legal Adviser of the State Joint Stock Company "Diplomatic service agency".

In 1999 after a successful pass of the attorney exam he is sworn in by the President of the Supreme Court of Latvia and becomes a member of Latvian Collegium of Sworn Advocates starting his individual lawyer’s practice. From December 1999 he is a partner in the Attorney Office "Bērziņš, Marga un Vīnkalns".

Since 2003 he has been requested to act as the arbitrator at the Latvian International Arbitration Court, Riga Arbitration Court and Ziemeļkurzeme /North-Western Latvia/ Arbitration Court.
